Description

The PDR fly fishing reel from Wychwood is designed to fish big predators, both freshwater and saltwater. That's why special attention has been paid to the drag system, which is powerful yet finely adjustable, to help you confidently handle even the most combative fish. The drag system is also protected within a sealed shell to keep it safe from sand and dirt.

The drag knob is large and ergonomically designed, making it easy to adjust, especially in hectic moments, such as when fighting a big fish.

The frame and spool have been machined from a single block of anodised aluminium using numerically controlled machinery, which not only makes it aesthetically pleasing, but also makes it very strong and robust at a very low weight.

The spool is of the large arbor type, which helps to reduce the memory effect of the fly line, thus favouring smooth and precise casts. In addition, its diameter makes the retrieve of the line quite fast and this is very useful when you want to catch big fish.
